By Ben Cao

The boys and girls Cross Country team wrapped up their regular season this past Tuesday with their meets against Stoneham. In what was described as a slippery, wet, rocky race conditions, the boys managed to pull out a win against the Spartans 25-31. The girls ran great races, keeping the meet close, but ended up losing the duel to Stoneham 31-24. With the conclusion of the regular season, the boys and girls team finish the season with a 6-3 record. The boy’s team finishes 4th in the Middlesex League behind Reading, Lexington, and Winchester, while the girls finish in a tie for 3rd with Melrose behind Lexington and Reading. Next Monday, November 2nd, the Cross Country teams head over to Woburn Country Club, where they will gut it out against the entire league at the annual Middlesex League Meet.
